Milk on the Go

Elissa did not drink much milk, even as a baby, so when she switched from formula to whole milk at age 1, I was constantly toting milk around to offer to her and was always paranoid that the milk would spoil while we were out. I was happy to find the Funtainer by Thermos, a stainless-steel straw cup that is insulated and keeps drinks cold.

The Foogo by Thermos is even better--easier to clean and the straw top does not come off easily, which corrects the potential choking hazard of the original Funtainer. (There are now some redesigned Funtainers that are not choking hazards, but be sure to open the Funtainers and check before buying.)

My other recent purchase is the Fridge-to-Go, which has ice packs built into a small bag that can be put directly into the freezer. I bought the one under the Playtex Baby label, which is just the right size to fit two Foogos...perfect for our needs. It's a cute black bag with extra pockets for your cell phone and wallet.

Hey Em, I think we're ready to try something like this. Is Foogo is what you would recommend or have you found something even better now?

By the way, did you have to add "flavor" to the milk before your girls started liking milk?
